Hi, I'm Sidney

I'm the loveable Australian Shepherd who appears in the novels A Vintage Year for Insider Trading and A Vintage Year For Libel And Slander. 

Since I’m an Australian Shepherd, I'm smarter than the brilliant Silicon Valley techies, high-powered lawyers, clever Sonoma tech stock traders or devious thieves that appear in these novels. 

I’ve started this blog to help household pets manage their humans who are increasingly working at home. This blog is unique. Many blogs provide advice to humans about training their pets. My blog will give pets advice how to train you humans. I will also try to herd you humans away from trouble. 

In one of my first Dear Sidney posts, I share the advice I gave a new puppy, Dean Monnet, shortly after he arrived to live in the home of Liz and Bill Monnet two years ago. This advice is worth sharing because many puppies have similar problems dealing with their humans.
